1. Too often, I notice open carriers operate with a "because I can" approach. We have to remember that we are suppose to be enlightened people with a realistic world view. We aren't supposed to look like bullies. When we bait and badger police officers by wearing tactical gear in public and refusing to show them our respect, we become bullies, and we scare people.

2. We need to do because we should, not because we can.
